More seriously, I like the fact on this albums, there's always a different type of songs

THAT, more thn anything else, is what made Prince different from everyone else. He has a unique command of everything muscial and can combine msuics at will tomake something that no one else can. That is what Purple Rain was - you couldnt call it rock or R&B. He followed it up with Around the World in a Day to show even more diversity - taking a hard left turn from Purpe Rain even though it would have been easy to make a sound alike album and cash in on the great purple wave he started.
