For me it goes to show that Prince cant make a bd album even when it seems he tries to do just that. Like NewPowerSoul, it has become trandy among socalled real Prince fans/experts to dump on this album. However, they all have 3 or 4 tracks that they cite as great Prince songs (With NPS, tracks like The One, Wasted Kisses, Come On, Freaks on This Side, MadSex were often singled out yet the album was trashed). After you get Lavaux, Walk in Sand, Sticky Like Glue, Beginning Endlessly, you have a worthy Prince album whether you choose to like it or not. Save America - Stop Illegal Immigration. The only album of his that I find nearly irredeemable is MPLSound. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

It's from a livestream that Prince did on June 22, 2013 called 3RDEYETV. It was later on a boot called "Prince-3RDEYETV". I have it on a "Best of 3rdeyetv" compilation of rehearsals and instrumentals. A very good listen with all the "oohhh ohhhhs" tacked on near the end. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

Another cool post-1980s song that the assholes on the org over-analyzed, beat down and killed.

That's exactly right. Don't over analyze this stuff. 20Ten is a fun, energetic record. Just go with it! "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Yeah, the rap part nearly derails the song (similar to the rap in the middle of Love 2 the 9's)... but other than that, the song is really good. Absolutely great rhythm guitar parts toward the end.

Was the tweet a downoad link? Stream? Did anyone nab it? "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

Thanks. Not sure if it was the link provided in the tweet, but I found it on Mixcloud. Great version. That groove is just so sick. I can see why he wants to jam on it for 13 minutes at a time. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

Seems likes the clip was the super funky 13-minute version from Copenhagen on the 20ten tour. [Edited 5/31/15 7:51am] "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

I had this song stuck in my head for the past few weeks, out of nowhere really. It's pretty catchy. 20ten is actually one of my favorite albums of the past 10 years. . I always thought it was cool that there was another song called "Stuck Like Glue" by a country band that was out around the same time. Coincidence, or did Prince like the concept and decided to make a version of his own?

I love the end of Sticky Like Glue when the background singers come in, with Prince singing over them. That's some glorious stuff. Would love to see this live, cause this song is indeed the jam.

Y did it take so long to get love for this song... This never got love on the org... This song is awesome!

This is an example of one of my favorite types of threads on the Org. When people discuss a song that hasn't received much love, and share our appreciation for these tracks. Especially when they kick as much ass as Sticky Like Glue. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Always dug this song. Yes it does have that old "Parade" funk vibe to it.
