Song: The Exodus Has Begun

Dear Lawrd that track is 100 year old egg funky!

Part of a song: the bass solo in the extended version of La, La, La, He, He, He

That has the be the funkiest 2 minutes of music ever recorded.

Not sure what the song was called or even if it was a song. Prince was playing the keyboards on that documentary with Miles Davis and Eric Clapton; A Portrait of Prince, or something rather. Someone help me out. Anyways, he has shades on and is standing with his right side to the keyboard. It's a fast clip but that was some funky dookie right there!

Linn4days

Anotherloverholenyohead

It has a piece of everything he has done before it and since...

The Linn even sounds organic...

That groove should never end...

I think I cried at the last concert when I heard the "rock encarnation"

Forget "Stripped-Down" and "unplugged" moments...

Just trigger the linn samples, and play the drums over them...

That bass on the 12" version! It just purrs...like the bass on some of his earlier B-sides, but it's perfected..

It feels like fun...

A serious song about a break-up, and it is fun...., but they are serious..

Everything that Timberlake wanted to do with "Suit & Tie"......It's just sleek.

You can dance, and cruise to it in your car... It has great sing-a-long moments too..

It has everything that "Kiss, When Doves Cry, and most other songs have, but more..

It's more artistic than "Musicology" sound...

Horns...

Makes me feel like putting-on a banana-colored suit (minus the high -heels though)..

lololol "Put your foot on the rock!"

He's said this in a couple of other songs...

Anotherloverholenyohead is a peice of all he's done in it..just no NPG.

Minus the stick, erotic city and get it up....add PFunk and that's my list.

'Head'
'DMSR'
'Let's Work'
'Days of wild'(track 7 from the dawn version ...sounds like SRV and George Clinton had a love child)

'Exodus has begun' ...was the strongest, funkiest, filthiest track that group put to acetate and were somewhat useless after that recording was made. That song had 'spent' them...it was their last good wad they couldve shot....it got shot hard and far too

'PFunk'. I mean jesus.....wow....catch a nickel restless in the studio one night with an ensemble and I get this....Jesus save me....this ones a filthy McNastee... Jesus save this man from himself.
Pookie go fetch the limo is right boy.

I wanna make it a five song list....but I can't get to the three without the three....so I'm stuck with head, let's work, and dmsr...a foundation is necessary and its a crazee strong one.

Totally agree with you, the first time I heard that bass line in the alternate ATWIAD I couldn't believe he left it out. It's a thumping funk base line.
