At my old job, we were all sort of a "family". We got away with bloody murder, never did things the way they were supposed to be done, but always got the job done and shined. Anyhoo...the store manager was named Mary, I was her assistant, and we had to sit down a girl named Monique who had fucked up. Again, we were all close, including the store manager, so the meeting was nowhere near as formal as it should be, but way more formal than what our "family" was used to going thru. Monique and I were Prince fans, Mary wasnt. We had gone back and forth, and Monique said, "I do have a life outside of here..." I cut her off and said, "LIFE MY ASS, MOTHAFUCKA! THIS IS A BUSINESS, AND YOU AINT TOO FAR GONE TO SEE THAT YET!" Monique and I died laughing, Mary damned near had a heart attack until we explained, and the whole situation crumbled into laughter. I miss those days...
