Pretzelbodylogic I love the Arms of Orion. I think Planet Earth is a pretty good album. I absolutely adore MPLSound but the song Pretzelbodylogic fucking annoys the fuck out of me! I would rather hear Jughead. What is it about this song that grains on me, beside the inane lyrics? Could someone please share a live version of this song that justifies it's existence?

The version from that Louisville show is posed to kick ass but i dunno i haven't heard it . I'm not crazy for this song but i think it's alright. The title's interesting . For all time I am with you, you are with me.

Loved this from the moment I first heard it. Apart from the annoying intro but I soon snipped that and now it's awesome.
I can't share them but there are some good live versions from the recent Louisville soundboard boots. However, I'm quite sure they won't make you love the song if you didn't already. RIP

I really like the song. I love the way Prince delivers his vocals. Also, the drumming is kick ass.

I like the drumming and vocal delivery too, I think the lyrics are what kill it for me, they make me want to reach for the gun...

I despise this song as well. It's right up there with Jughead and Wedding Feast. If a man is considered guilty
For what goes on in his mind Then give me the electric chair For all my future crimes"

never liked this song. Prince 4Ever.

The studio version is spoilt for me by the intro and annoying chorus but the live version from Louisville is brilliant. . Don't notice the chorus as much, some additional keyboards and I love his vocals, especially on the 3rd verse..'limo on the tarmac ready to ride'

Like it, even if it's a little too close to Iron Man for comfort.

Actually I was reading the lyrics the other day (they're online, just google them) and I realized I don't have A DAMN CLUE what this song is about. Is it because it's cryptic or is it because there r references onbly native Amercian English speakers can get??? Anyone has any idea what the track is about? Outside of the acapella intro which i hate, I love this song, production and lyrics.
But then again I think "Boy Trouble" has production and hook exactly like it could have been an 80's protege song outside of the fast rap talking. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

So u have no idea either and it's totally open to interpretation? I don't have a clue. My best guess is that it makes sense in Prince's head and isn't intended to mean anything. He just has lines that sounded good to him and fit the sound he wanted. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

I think it's about the tiring life of being on the road with his band, with various lines intended to sound sexual in nature, even though they're not. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

You beat me to it--but yeah, I don't think it matters whether you're American or not.

This song without the first 15 seconds is actually pretty sweet. "Limo on the tarmac ready to ride!!!" and that "wooooo!" scream are cool. Now that first acapella chorus completely ruins the song. Try fast forwarding over that part and seeing what you think. "Love & honesty, peace & harmony"

I don't understand Peanutbutterlogic or Pretelbodylogic. TRUE BLUE

Peanut butter logic is a belief that has no real substance or shape, and can be shaped however the server wants. It has a pleasant taste which makes it instantly palatable, but leaves you feeling empty afterward. . Pretzelbodylogic is just pure carnal pleasure.

I'm with several other people on this topic - the acappella intro spoils what is to come. Listen without it and it's a much better song.

and, Prince 4Ever. | |

It still isn't great. But if you hack off the acapella intro, which kicks the song of to a really sour start, it's vastly improved.
