Musically and thematically, it would've been the perfect start to TGE instead of P. Control.

The first time I (and probably a lot of us) heard this song was at the '94 VH1 Honors. That scream he did at the end was one of his best...such a great live performance, so much energy!

My dad bought a "software bundle" back around '95-'96 that had the contained in it. I know the entire bundle just so I could have that disc. . It was not the version that had the audio-CD portion, but it was still nice. I still have it, but like others said it's not playable on any modern computer. I can still access the songs and videos through the root level of the CD though.

The original unedited versions of Interactive followed by Endorphinemachine are 2 of P's last classics.

Thematically, with the NPG Operator intro and interlude, it was the perfect opener to TGE. Then came P Control which is just one of the best opener P ever had. P realized it and made a choice. I never knew what to think about that, because in the end I think P Control was the right choice, I mean it's a mind blower, it just starts the album with such a bang! But TGE lost a lot thematically because it made less sense to keep the NPG Operator segues if the album wasn't going to open with one, and the "if u would like to continue the Interactive xperience please press come" interlude in the middle of a track, that was also something really indispensable to the concept if u ask me. Well said. Also, P Control gets a lot of hate on the Org. I love it! "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

I know, this alone shows how many people on this forum don't know what they're talking about when they're discussing music... A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

"Interactive" is a tight lil' rock jam. The chorus really hooks you. . "Pussy Control" is a fun jam, too. The synths are big and bold, fresh beat. Of all of the songs Prince has rapped on, I think this one is my favorite because it better suits his natural cadence and that kinda yin-yang Gemini attitude of his. Plus I always enjoyed this song's message of female empowerment.
