This might be the shortest version of "Purple Rain" Prince has ever played live at 4 minutes and 16 seconds. I think the single edit for radio was longer than the version here on the Louisville Palace show lol.

well i never thought i would say that Prezelbodylogic was the highlight of a show, but it is with this one. And what happens to Purple Rain? You can hear that Princes voice is struggling with it. He must have recovered because he did another show after! Anyhow, thanks to whoever is responsable for these releases. And beyond!

PBL is a great song!! I never understood the hate for that song. I always thought that song was really strong!!

I know some of you dislikes the big hits.

But I really love the guitar solo in Nothing Compares 2 U, it fits in so beautifully..

yes the guitar sounds better than the sax on this one. It helps freshen up a tired overplayed song.

The amount of recent SBDs suggests that either P is qillfully leaking this stuff (unlikely) or that he has control and/or quality issues in his concert entourage.

Surprisingly Pretzelbodylogic is probably the highlight for me. Sounds great, his vocals are brilliant. Even threw in a bit of Blue Peter.

Its a shame he wont do more of the recent tracks. He could do a first half of the likes of Anotherlove, Marz, Pretzel, Clouds, Funknroll etc and the hits in the second half. Bit like what he done on the Act I tour with the Symbol album.
