Dr. Pepper Commercial Not sure if it's been covered here, but does anyone else think the Diet Dr. Pepper commerical is making fun of Prince? Eventually every cloud runs out of rain. | |

I think the makers of Dr. Pepper are more interested in selling their product and making money.

on spike tv they played the commercial all day and yes its a reference to prince there tag line is "its the sweet taste"or something to that reference ..i think prince should sue 4 defermation of character and send out a cease letter | |

This was in a thread a few months ago. It shows Justin Guarini who looks a bit like Prince singing about the "Sweet one". Guarini who is Black and Italian looks like a cross between Prince and Jack Sparrow in the ad with a dash of Steven Tyler thrown in. . Saying that, I think its more a Steven Tyler rip off.
