Yes that period made him a legend but songs like No More Candy For You and U Know show that he is not yet done creating his legacy. Show me songs by Madonna, B. B. King, Paul McCartney or Stevie Wonder from the last 7 years that are as good as those two songs. Those musicians are also Legends but they are done Prince continues to put out gems. Yes there are albums that have clunkers but come on name one song from the last Paul McCartney album that floored you.

Paul's latest album, NEW, can hold its own against AOA and PE, easily.

There's even a deluxe version with some great extra tracks.... if only Prince cared enough to do the same. He's talked about it and agreed to it several times but doesn't deliver.

I'm here because despite actually disliking Prince himself I believe in his music. It evens out because I don't think that Prince likes himself either. Luvs himself yes, but in a Dorian Gray way.

And your point about Isley Brothers can make a boxset and Prince can't (and Prince is a much bigger star than Isley Bros, with all respect)... THAT IS STILL A BIG "MYSTERY".....

Maybe Prince can, but he won't..... the reason why not can it be a question of: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

That is so strange, why Prince keep deny to release what his fans really needs, the deluxe remasters..... damn....

Sometime it is indeed tough to be a fan, and a bit strange, right? neutral neutral
