I was very disappointed from the tidal concert I hear online and the baltimore single too. But this short live is another world. It remind me the Undertaker "live in the house" and the Small Club extravaganza in some part. I prefer the instrumental moments (I find his voice flat, expecially in chaos & disorder imho), but the general vibe is very interesting. I feel this as one of his best "official" live release, as the instrumentals in one of the last ahdio shows (question of u, curting time... if you remember) and the recent Octopus Heart, one of my favorite.
Well nice surprise, in loop.

I was pleasantly surprised by this show. It rocks! Well done, Prince. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

This show is an unexpected aural orgasm, and a slap upside the head attention-getter for Prince's endurring other-worldiness. In other words, I dig the @)#%&*^$^*&@!!*(%+}$#!!! out of it.

Love what I've heard of this so far... it does sound reminiscent of the '93-'95 era stuff, which is no bad thing in my book... this is going to make an excellent addition to teh Art Official Age: Deluxe Edition in my iTunes!
Also, to be clear, in the original Chaos And Disorder, the lyrics are very much pro-liberal. I never heard them as anti-gay and I'm surprised anyone else has...
'happy ain't allowed' means 'gay is not allowed'... being happy about someone being gay, i.e. supporting someone being gay is not allowed....
the latest lyric change is also pro-liberal/pro-gay... just a little more obvious.

Choas & Disorder 3EG Concert
Carjacks, use to mend flat tires Cadillac, use to be the Benz Big Joint, never got you higher (I) Said it all, said it all, said it all Cost you in the end Mineapolis, I'm just a no-named reporter Looking for something to say Looking through my new camcorder All I see is crime that pays People hit by mortars Everywhere you go there's loitering Chaos & disorder, ruling this world today He's gay, use to mean he's happy Now days, happy & you're proud Back in the day, dance with that brother In some states, it just wasn't allowed I'm just a no named reporter Looking for something to say Looking through my new camcorder trying to find a crime that pays People hit by mortars Everywhere you go there's loitering Chaos & disorder ruling your world today Say, Donna, help me right here Guitar solo oh No name reporter, hit by mortar, everywhere you go Chaos & disorder mineapolis make noise Thanks for the HELP!
btw, I never once thought the lyrics of the song were anti-gay 'He's gay use to mean he's happy, nowadays happy ain't allowed' that always seems to me his observation of the world, not him saying it shouldn't be allowed. It seems pretty clearly pro-gay all the way, not sure why it would be perceived anyother way?

Walking into the concert hall as the band kicked into "Wow!" was one of my favorite moments as a Prince fan, especially since I had no clue if Prince would even be performing. That whole set was great honestly. Full of songs I've never seen live. Short but well worth the 30 dollars.

. Listen again. Car jack, used to mend flat tires. More logical, more probable. More correct. . . . .

[Edited 5/16/15 9:22am] As far as the lyric about drugs goes, I hear it as "(I) said it all, said it all, said it all costs you in the end," which to me is a more anti-drug statement than in the original, where he essentially said the marijuana is okay but coke is a problem. Just my thoughts. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
