The idea of expecting prince to deliver anything any of us want has been laughable for god knows how long. At least my wallet is thanking me, i'd be shelling out so much for boxsets if I was given the chance.

This. Prince is a typical Gemini. There are countless accounts of his associates and most of them tend to be mixed. But when he's an arse, he's just that. An arse. My brother is a gemini and when he has his episodes it's fucking agrivating.

But when he's in his good moods he's one of the most enjoyable people to be around.

It's probably the same with Prince.

What's so hilarious is that after all these years it hasn't dawned on people that what they whine about the most is exactly what they will never get from Prince.

You can judge Prince by other people's stories and what he HASN'T released if you want to.

I judge him by the phenomenal amount of joy he has brought to my life from the huge amount of music he HAS released.....oh, and also from when I met and spoke to him. I tend to value my own experiences more than others who largely have an axe to grind because they aren't in his employ any more.
