I think a set list like this would be cool

I think this will be cool for him and the band to try. Something different besides all the hits and stuff.

{As everything is pitch-black} For You
WOW
Hello
Clouds
Bob George (instrumental at first, but soon Prince comes on stage and says funny stuff, but completely different topic.. Still classic "bob george-voice" though.)
EndorphinMachine
Bambi
Trust
Sister
I like it there
PartyMan
HouseQuake (full song)
The Work Pt. 1
Do Me, Baby (Prince starts out on piano, then goes on a big guitar solo)
Strange relationship
When you were mine
Piano set -
- International Lover (similar to that unreleased rehearsal/outtake that's a demo)
- Somebody's somebody
- At first a girls shadow is shown to the crowd as a big silhouette. Prince notices, then tries to win her by..... Electric Intercourse (all on piano)

ExtraLoveable (version that's a bit faster tempo, instrumental for the most part is like the 2011 version but also includes the guitars for the main riff like in the original)
Dance 4 Me
This could be us
Sleep around
Batdance
Encore -
- Last December ..during the end while the guitar is rocking hard, it goes into ..
- PLECTRUMELECTRUM (about 2 mins)
Encore 2 -
- What If (just Prince singing)
- One of us
Encore 3 (The crowd just wants more!)
- The Everlasting Now

I think something like this would be cool, not too many hits like he's been doing..
What does anyone think?

I agree, go all out, try it

Instead of the safe tease sets

Try to make it edgy, see if he can play the conflict into it

I actually love that set-list! Epecially the Bob George segment as I could TOTALLY imagine that being awesome. THe highlights of P concerts are always the silly (awesome) shit he says when he's having fun. I also liked the part about a sillhoute and Prince trying to seduce her. You see THAT'S what missing for me. A little theatricality and choreography again. When you think back to his 'prime' it wasn't really just the music alone that sucked you into Prince's world at his shows, it was the quirky aesthetic and actions. Sign O The Times tour, Lovesexy tour, Purple Rain tour etc. Do you think they would have been half as interesting or engorssing if he just stood and played guitar liked he does now?

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

its time to set the record straight. he needs to spread the word..like no one else can

For the main part he stands and plays guitar, but he still dances and still dances amazing.. Now obviously he can't do no splits or break dances like he use to back in the day. But he still dances which is awesome. And to answer your question, i think they'd still be very much interesting. Because Prince is a guy who sometimes you don't even have to watch him live, you can listen to his live stuff (for example, IWBYL from the ONA era) and it will still be amazing and you'll get that live feel and experience. What I think I like most about him when he's live (and again the IWBYL ONA version live) he gets the audience to sing with him and each other in the audience. Like people can come together through that kind of stuff
And I know, a lot of people sing at all sorts of concerts. But with a prince it's like magic.
Oh and I like his awesome facial expressions live especially back in the day

I was generalising a bit by saying he just stand there. I saw him 4 times last year and he can indeed still dance, which he means he could still do a show with a bit more production. He doesn't have to do that splits and things, just things like what the OP suggested.

Right, he expresses it in interviews and through Hannah and through removal of certain songs

Go all out and do it, make it edgy, make it rebellious

I would totally be down with a spirit filled set. Anna Stesia, Still Would Stand All Time and Elephants & Flowers are all songs I've been dying to see live!
