Possibly an employee. I've worked corporate retail before... They ask that you play specific internet radio stations or specific cds they provide, but anyone with an ipod/iphone/mp3 player & a cord could listen to anything they brought with them over the store's speakers. As long as it isn't offensive it largely goes unnoticed if no one cares.

I've heard 17 Days played by many a DJ, it seems to be a popular choice. Not complaining but I should probably stop being surprised when it happens.

I was at a pool party, and Joy in Repetition came up and played on someone's play list... lol.

But it was right after a Stevie Wonder track.

A lot of Prince's catalogue is on iTunes and if you want to find an old cd you can. People who cannot get this great music really do not want to pay for it.

One time I heard Planet Earth tracks while shopping at Nordstroms in Anchorage AK.

That surprised me, I think it was possibly related to the 3121 fragrance promotion.

It's always cool when a random track catches you off guard.
