First names in songs. Do they compute?

Is your name Billy? Do you know a Billy? Maybe with ugly sunglasses?
Do you have a Goo amongst your friends? Maybe poor?

I myself have a bond with "Happy Birthday Mr. Christian".
I don't know, I feel kinda flattered in a slight Bateman way that the guy in the song knocks Apollonia. biggrin

So, do you know any Vanessa that cringes at the Love Symbol segues?
Any Annie that gets all paranoid when you play "Annie Christian"?

What's your first name story?

The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
No Child's a failure
Until the Blue Sailboat sails him away from his dreams
Don't Ever Lose, Don't Ever Lose
Don't Ever Lose Your Dreams

Starfish and Coffee always makes me smile as my names Kevin.

There is something so cool about imagining Prince is giving you a shout out.

I knew this guy named James McGregor who worked for Prince around 91-95. He was mainly a stage hand. When there were private parties at Paisley Park, he would walk around and film people with a handheld video camera (All the film he shot, it ain't too hot!). You can see him in the VH1 special in 95. Prince throws a pic into the audience and it lands on the bill of his hat. He is Poor Goo. I don't think that's the kind of story you were looking for, but there it is.

Yeah, the topic could be broaden.
There is this interesting theory that "Delores" is in fact Warner Bros.

He travels quite a lot these days and is still involved in the music business.

I knew a guy named Bob.

I reminded him that when you spell his name backwards, it´s still BOB! Same muthafuckin´ shit. Bob.

I left out the "same muthafuckin shit" part though.
