Should there be a Prince biography film decades from now

A Prince biographical film (similar to The Jackson's, Temptations films)

How would you do it?

Only problem will be is trying to find the right person to play Prince
And don't forget they'd have to get the right actor to play Tony M !! lol

If I were to direct a Prince biographical film (similar to The Jackson's, Temptations films) "For You" would be an important song to use during the opening.. This as we all know is the first track ever, officially released on a Prince album One day when Prince sadly has to go to heaven (hopefully years and years and years from now) when and if the they make a biographical film for him, "For You" would be a great song to play during the teaser trailer and the teaser trailer should be premiered at the Grammys!! When people hear him, all the real P fans will be applauding as they hear the first seconds as the screen is still pitch-black .. Then of course it shows a particular scene which would be looked at as an important time in his life .. The movie would start with Prince at during the 1978ish era but it won't go too deep into his personal life (to respect his privacy) instead the film will try to portray stuff that we all ready know and it will still portray him as a mysterious, talented, musical genius as he is. Since there's so much to get through, I'd do it as "The Jackson's" movie was made where there's the early years and fame. (1978-1989) and then 1990-2015.... (The struggles he went through with Warner Bros and later struggling to get a hit but then of course goes back to more organic-sounding music and he finds his way back into himself.. It would go up to around the Musicology era (during the tour) and would skip to 2015 .. The ending would be during one of his recent concerts (2015) where he asks the audience, "how many of y'all like the 80s? And how many of y'all were born in the 80s" and it goes into a certain concert-closing song and when it's over, fade-out, and says "Prince's music and legacy will live 4ever" roll credits.. Well that's how I'd do it.. How would you? Only problem will be is trying to find the right person to play Prince Maybe an 11 year old boy with Prince's face CGI'd on the face and maybe a voice actor could do the P's voice... And don't forget they'd have to get the right actor to play Tony M !!

Maybe when Prince is in his seventies he will be okay with a movie based on his life, much like the Chuck Berry film directed by Taylor Hackford, but the problem with biopics is that they rarely show why the subject is an icon and degenerates into cliches.

True.. Well hopefully if there were to be a film, it'll be different and unique from the others like Prince

I don't think there should/will be a Prince film.

People don't pay to see the "real deal" on screen- "Under The Cherry Moon", "Sign o' The Times" & "Graffiti Bridge " didn't sell tickets--

"Get On Up" didn't do that well- and James Browns' story is bigger than Princes.

Not being negative, just being a realist--I don't think there's the interest or an audience for a Prince Bio flick. Not now. Not ever smile

If done right, like Ray Charles bio, it would be a hit. The mysterious Prince would be enough to draw people in.

It ain't happening while Prince is around. And if they doit while he is around, it will be without Prince music (aka lame).

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

I don't think an actor can do it right without it looking like a caricature. The actor has to be a real musician. where are they going to find a 5 ft tall light-skin black guy that looks like a girl with mannerisms like a man/woman

I think they're should be a Prince Biopic...3 Actors come to mind.

1) Connor Cruise (Tom Cruise's adopted son)

2) Bryton James (Plays Devon on The Young and The Restless)

3) Evan Ross (Diana's Son)
