Yes, as a matter of fact I just back from one tonight. One guy even had some Good Question outtakes.Who would've thought. Needless to say, there was alot of trade negotiations going on tonight. I'll give my full report later.

Kinda, but there used to be a mandatory clothes check so no one could have any secret recording devices. But it just got too akward, with everyone being nude. Except the rule applies when discussing uncirculating "Nude" Tour soundboards. The mandatory clothes check is enforced for that.

Is it a small penis thing? Is it retribution for being bullied at school for dressing like Prince? If I had in my hands a collection of outtakes unheard by anyone before, the first thing I would do is spread the love with the fans. Why not?

That's not the only reason. The other reason many people don't share is that they'd like all people who have rare stuff to share what they have. But Prince collectors can be really assholes, mean and liars. So other collectors will have stuff you just freed, but you will never get a chance to get what they have and they'll laugh in your face. Trust me

Its more a case of whispering to someone "ill tell you a secret but dont tell anybody" who then goes to someone else and says "ill tell you a secret but dont tell anybody"... and so on. I say fuck 'em, stop whispering secrets to each other and let us all in on it... Prince's declining fanbase are the only ones who seem interested in preserving his legacy. So let the stuff out so it can be heard, documented and catalogued for prosperities sake. Because it wont be long before there is no one around to care...

I think listening parties is too big a definition. It is usually people having someone over to listen to something rare, most of the time to prove they have it for trading purposes. That is why you talk trading afterwards with the people invited. It's definitely not a real party
