. How about you look at his post-WB output and compare what was promised to what was delivered? © Bart Van Hemelen

. How about you read what has been written? The claim that I responded to was "he can't seem to finish anything". Simple response: look at his output, compare it to other artists, and then please shut up. There are only few artists in the music business with the number of released, finished albums that Prince has to offer. . Now, if VelvetKittyKat had written "he has too many unfinished projects", that would have been a fair claim and subject to interpretation as to what "too many" might be. But this is not what has been stated, and therefore, it is not what I have responded to. . Your affection for precise reading and logical deduction seems to be limited to claims supporting your everlasting effort to explain how idiotic Prince has become in 19xx (insert some numbers here). However, if it does not suit your cause, you don't care too much about the details.

. . But, for real...give up on the symbol already. Prince went back to using his name years ago. You can (and arguably SHOULD) too. "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

There's still time for a 30th anniversary edition:

Private Dancer first came out in 1984, the 30th anniversary edition now, 31 year later.

. Which you took out of context. .
. Make a list of all that was promised POST-WBR -- because lots of shit got done back then because there was a record company behind his ass and a management team etc. so including that in your argument is BS -- and note what didn't happen. Just in the last couple of years we've seen the announcement of the home video release of one or more of his Montreux gigs that didn't happen. It was one of the few things that were promised in several lean years, and yet it didn't happen. Or how about the Toronto gig? How about his current "tour"? . I recall Rudedog maintaining a list of "broken promises" back in the early 2000s and plenty of it were post-WBR promises even though Prince had only been "free" for a couple of years. . Also, was AOA finished? I'd venture to say it wasn't, considering the lack of singles and remixes and B-Sides and decent videos and promotional efforts including a tour where he actually plays the songs from that album. . And that's just the stuff we know about. I bet that these days a lot of his brainfarts don't get published immediately, like back in the L4OA and NPGMC eras when new projects seemed to be announced when they were a mere thought in Prince's head. Hell, just look at the Yahoo special: he already was talking about NPG-Q (most likely shelved and never to be heard from again), some new music (for an NPG-backed album?), one or more collaborations with Rita Ora,... How much of that will come to fruition? Now he's obsessed with Judith Hill, but will anything come from that (and no, that WeTransfer "release" doesn't count)? © Bart Van Hemelen

The album exploded in 1983. THRILLER 25 was released 30 years and 2 months after the original release (30 november 1982).

^^ Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the world of BartVanHemelen. Just define finished and released products as "unfinished", because Mr. Bart disagrees with release strategies for singles or the haido of the "Lovesex is my jam" girl, and you all of a sudden see that Prince Rogers Nelson can't finish anything. . I think I should declare "Around the world in a day" as an unfinished project, because Prince hasn't put proper promotional effort into it, and because he wasted space on the disk by including the silly "conversation with God" part in "Temptation" rather than the brilliant "She's always in my hair". . Anyone else? Should we declare "For you" as unfinished, because someone has some objections against Prince's business practices in 1978? . This is just utterly ridiculous.

. It's frikking amazing. What part of "POST WBR" don't you understand? Your entire comment is just made up bullshit, just to avoid admitting that Prince has a bloody hard time finishing things when left to his own devices. © Bart Van Hemelen

Expecting Prince to do something special for the movie is pointless that'll never happen, lol. We can't even get him to remaster the soundtrack!

. You just don't get the point. I referred to you declaring projects which were RELEASED and therefore are proven to be FINISHED projects as "unfinished", just because you needed something to back up your point of view. This has NOTHING to do with these projects being released in 1978 or in 2014 or with WBR or without them, it has only to do with you only sticking to proven facts whenever it seems to suit your cause. . Just read it again, maybe you'll get it.
