He oversees in-house 10 artists, and works with four engineers and two producers who coordinate with the 100 or so people they work with across the world, as well as making sure creation process of each Doodle runs as smoothly as possible.

The one event he regrets not commemorating is last year's 30th anniversary of Prince's Purple Rain. "I'm a huge Prince fan, and I was sad to miss that," he says. "Maybe I’ll hold on until the 40th, if Prince would have us. That would be our honour."

Hell, Prince couldn't/wouldn't/didn't commemorate it. So Ryan and his team really shouldn't feel bad. shrug

A Google Doodle would have been fun. But why do people need Prince's permission to celebrate PR 30? My local theater ran a showing.

I fell victim to Prince's team! I had a video of hand drawn (Poorly) picures with me singing a song... I may have it saved but who knows where... I hope I at least have the pictures!
