It is like a barren wasteland disbelief
JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

Let's start naming the local Wreckastows and locations, what cities and stuff so we can start our quests!

I recommend Rockaway in Los Angeles, the SilverLake area on Glendale.

They are great! I've been shopping there since 84! They love music and they have a great, great, rock collectors section that will blow you away!

Also, Aarons Records...but they USED to be better. They stock imports though.

Especially the first cassingles, I had Hot Thing and U Got The Look Cassingles, they came in a long slender long box. Long versions, stupidly sold them. What the f...as I thinking!

I realised the other day how 'off the radar' Prince
had really become over the years. If you go into
your nearest large record store like Virgin or HMV
and have a look at the Prince section, you'll find
that apart from the various 'best of' albums, they
only stock 3 Prince albums!...

Purple Rain,
Diamonds And Pearls &
Sign O' The Times.

Most of his back catalogue is still available, but
you'd have to order it in specially, unless you go
to one of the REALLY big megastores,

Also the following albums are deleted;
The Gold Experience, Emancipation, Newpower Soul
& Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic (and of course 'The
Black Album'...but that doesn't really count).
So the only way to get those albums now is
secondhand.

That really depends on where you live. I live in the Detroit Metro Area, and I don't have any problems finding Prince CD's at places like Harmony House, MediaPlay, Sam Goody.

Independent record stores are the only place to shop. They are a dying breed (independent), save the endangered vinyl!

I love used music. It's cheaper, works the same as new and I can find anything I put my mind to.
