There were so many awesome beats over the years, P is a genius at drum programming.

Some underrated beats IMHO, hardly ever mentioned, are from the Batman era/ The Future, Trust, Lemon Crush, Shall We Dance... If u pay close attention to the drum programming on those tracks it's unlike anything P (or anyone else for that matter) had done before nor did ever since, very creative, original and sophisticated drum programming.

imo, it sure is a verry loong time ago that Prince had an original beat..

He had lots and lots on the 1999 album and PR and SOTT and Parade and........
