does anyone know how many copies of ONA...live have been sold so far?

what do you mean that it sold well, be more specific please, did it chart, go gold etc.

I would really consider it as a limited-release set, mostly made for pre-paid NPGMC members. Sure doesn't seem like there has even been a remote commercial push outside of the retail section of his web site.

In this case, I would say that Prince had his money to produce this release well in advance, so one could argue that, for once, sales figures for this album don't mean much at all.

Why would anyone who hasn't heard from Prince since the album buy a box set of live material that they probably have never heard?

Prince made his $$ from NPGMC members in advance. Good on him.

it might have had a chance at retail w/ some solid promotion and a little more reasonable price. I mean, c'mon. I paid $55.00 for mine (at Borders), for 3 CDs??? That's pretty steep. It's a solid if unspectacular collection...

ONA live was a completely insane move. I could go on and on about why it was but everyone knows anyway. Prince's behaviour does make me weary sometimes...

I have a feeling that over here (Holland) it's doing pretty well. Our record stores r almost always reordering it .
Maybe not a huge seller but a god seller. prince always sells well over here...
