"Your" is probably "you´re". I copied this part from a lyric website and haven´t listened to this version in a long time, so maybe there are mistakes, don´t know. Just wanted to give you an idea of the actual lyrics.

I Wish U Heaven is one of my favorite songs on the Lovesexy album and one of my all time favorite Prince songs. It´s strange that long time Prince follower , biographer and journalist Jon Bream disliked this song so strongly back when it was first released in 1988. He didn´t like the lyrics. I love them. Short, simple and sweet.

Love the video, too. Directed by Jean Baptiste Mondino, who also took the picture of the Lovesexy album cover. Great video, probably one of my favorite Prince videos.

I thought it was pizza too. I prefer it to Pees! makes her sound like a crazy as bitch, rather than just plain kooky!

You mean the version of the War that was released on cassette or the live version that the released version is based on?

The released version (on cassette) is approximately 21 minutes long (off the top of my head, don´t know the exact length) and was released in 1998 as a little gimmick to accompany the Crystal Ball set. They also sent some t-shirts to some who ordered. That whole Crystal Ball release was a big mess and cost him some fans back then. But it was nice to get the cassette, which made The War a legit release.

Then there is the live version. The released version is an edit of that live version. People who were there at Paisley Park during that live rendition posted here on the org and said that the longer version wasn´t really that special or different, just the same old loop repeating over and over again. I guess you had to be there to understand the difference but from what I know, the track was a bit too long and stretched out without much band involvement. The live version is approximately 45 minutes long.

As far as I´m concerned, I´d love to at least hear the live version to have an idea of what it sounds like. I usually like those extended, long, neverending live versions and rehearsals of songs.

I get it so the rest of the music on THE WAR was basically a long battle which you were ready to surrender ....one- two- the evolution will be colorized and it will go on and on and on and on. I completely understand now. I will just keep the twenty minute version and always picture Prince performing in the dark on the floor.

I also have to agree with you about hearing live versiion of extended or rehearsals of songs.

those versions are so cool to listen and so-so from the heart.

Yeah, she eats pizza on mine. If somebody else wants to listen to a song about urination, that's fine. Bad enough I've got to deal with it on We Can Funk.
