Prince's guys are working on the remaster now, so no chance of Father's Song being released until the remaster comes out as all masters relating to purple rain have been acquired by them.

When BTFP 2.0 can out I seem to remember a very knowledgable person posting a track by track comparison to previous releases pointing out where they were just tweaked versions or better quality sources.

Well, on the first BFTP (1.0) "Oldfriends 4 Sale" was isolated from the other tracks of "Parade Demos", ironically the only time in which the segue between O4S and "All My Dreams" was intact.

I don't appreciate these choices but eventually we are talking of outtakes compilation, not proper releases of albums.

Again, by timing "Computer Blue" seems the "Haalway Speech" Version, right?!?!?!?

Honestly I think that this 3.0 is assembled too fast and a more mixed bag than the first two volumes.

For example, the inclusion of a 0.13 sec. track sounds like a joke.

Where's Big Tall Wall? That was one of the 47 leaked tracks...

I don't know for sure, but judging from the timing (over 6 minutes) and the fact that it is titled "Once Upon A Time" and not "Bobbi Jo" I don't think it is.

We'll see. I still hope there's a mistake and it is simply the full P's "The Dopamine Rush Suite".

blast from the past 2 had some exclusive stuff on it that was worthwhile,empty room,neon telephone, etc,not heard before in such good quality, but i don't understand this

In regards to "Once Upon a Time-6.07", it's not that track or "Bobbi Jo", it's just simply an untitled piano instrumental. A pretty uneventful one at that.

make it through the storm/ dance with the devil wasnt part of the leak but someone did make cleaner versions with some program. are these from there or a new source?

Checked the Princevault and Day Tripper is a cover and by Flash, with Margie Cox on lead vocals.

Fingers crossed GO is in excellent quality otherwise this set could be a complete letdown.
