From a long time back. A fan tried to give Prince a "sand dollar" at one of the soundchecks during the ONA tour. It broke, and a long ass thread ensued on the org that was hilarious. Cant find the thread, but here is another one that talks about it. |

Wow, I had almost forgotten about the Sand Dollar incident. That shit was crazy. That thread went on for like 40 pages. And then the lady at the sound check who gave Prince the CDR of the cover she did of "Crazy You" - she was insane. The morning after the sound check she came on the Org posting her story about how she went to giver Prince her CD of the cover she did and he wouldn't accept it. She carried on about what a jerk he was. I think she was expecting sympathy - and she got bashed six ways to Sunday! And then all Hell broke loose! If a man is considered guilty

Im not sure if it was the same fan or not, but another incident ensued regarding trying to give Prince a CDR of a "reworked" version of one of his songs.
