JONI'S "CASE OF YOU" OR PRINCES "CASE OF U" It's Joni's for me, but if Prince had done the full length version who knows?

Prince. Joni sounds a bit like Liza Minelli performing You

Joni's. But Prince's would have been better is he had done the full song. It just sounds weird starting where it does.

prince version have a great guitar and piano moment...in joni's version ...music is there just to folow good text...but in any case...that song is beautiful...and i love it  | |

02. Tori 03. Prince Joni's version is too fine to ever be compared but Tori gave it a lot of her own input without really changing anything at the same time. Very well done. Her vocals complement the lyrics beautifully. I kind of like Prince's version but he should not have done just 1 verse. It's weird. For someone who always talks about covering songs and other people butchering "your creation that was perfect to begin with" it sure is strange that he does covers at all. Let alone do them in this way. Still, it sounds nice, and I like the funky ending. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
