I had heard Larry introduced them and that she was a member of the New York NPG Fanclub. He supposedly liked her and she was also a JW. Later she became a staff member at Paisley Park. Does anyone know the whole story of how Larry met her and when all this happened?

I don't know if I should mention what Tabloidia Paparazzi told me because sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

Well...ok...but you didn't hear it from me, 'cause I'm not one to gossip.

She used to have this booth on the NYC streets where she sold NPG Fanclub trinkets. She was struggling and lived in a nasty little apt. in the projects. Like a cream caramel in the midst of a sea of dark chocolate. Somebody was bound to come along and press their thumb in her backside just to get a look at what she was all about, 'cause she was fine.
All her money went for necessities and this house in San Diego, California called Beth Sarim. Her dream was to purchase it for...well...you know who, in order to resurrect his career. That never happened though.
She sold little feathers and beads and bronze pyramids with the o(+> symbol on them. She even sold o(+> fortune cookies door to door. Not to mention the aluminum hats with matching ear wraps and ankle chains. There were so many little ditties but people would stare at her sometimes as if the stuff was junk, not even worth tryin' to get rid of at the Goodwill. But this didn't deter our little heroine.
She kept right on being faithful to her task at hand.
One day, you know who's bass player, whom she had met at a Sun Yung Moon service, asked her to go to Minneapolis and become a staff member. Shoot! She jumped up like a cross between Rosie Perez and John Lequizamo in drag and said something in Italian along the lines of, "Come by my booth tomorrow at 7AM and whatever trinket you buy from me will determine my answer." She then translated, of course.
So the bass player stopped by and he got himself this thing called a "Pussy Control". It's basically a pink TV remote shaped like lips. Her prayers had been answered so she went with him to Minneapolis.
The rest is history.

From what I read before Mani worked at PP...she has a credit on the New Power Soul album...thats all I know.

The more realistic scenario is that she is a fan who went to parties in New York, where she was noticed by the *right* people, who then introduced her to Prince.
