Christopher's response Haven't seen UTCM in a long time. What was Christopher's response when Tricky proposed? "Oh, Tricky - I thought you'd never ask" or "No, I'm my own man - just like Liberace"?

Funny movie UTCM.... I love the humour.... Prince 4Ever.

I'm confused too. Tricky proposed to "dance before midnight" and Christopher slaps his own face before being thrown to the floor. Christopher asks Tricky if Tricky loves Christopher, and Tricky answers as they go back and forth, "Yeah, I guess. Yes? Yes!"...lol. But I don't know. Watch it yourself. What?

Tricky clearly said, "I'm my own man. Just like John Wayne", on film. I wonder why they changed it to Liberace in post-production...

Is that true? You know, I always felt that that Liberace reference came outta left-field (especially since Chris was the piano player). And "John Wayne" certainly makes a lot more sense, considering that ridiculous hat Tricky was wearing.
[EDIT: When did John Wayne start making westerns? The 50s? That might explain it. I know UTCM doesn't take place in any particular time, but a 50s reference could unravel things a bit...] [Edited 3/13/15 16:11pm]
