Many point to similarities between the two (although they are actually very different), and there are certain MJ songs like PYT which could easily be a Prince song etc.

Recently at a UK charity gig Prince covered 'Dont Stop Til You Get Enough', which other MJ song would you think he would do an amazing version of?

For me Beat It sounds like something that could be on the Purple Rain album and I'd love to hear him perform it.

Probably not a discussion for this particular thread but you can always orgnote me. Prince and Michael are my joint favorite artists of all time, yeah. Some days I'll feel more like listening to Michael and some days I'll feel more like listening to Prince.

I've never felt that comparing them made much sense, because they had different skill sets and different goals. All it boils down to is great songs, and they both have them. I would say that Prince has more great songs, simply because he has released significantly more music. But using that same logic, there's also entire albums Prince has released that don't do much for me and I never find myself wanting to listen to. So it all goes round in circles, really.

I think both of them are hugely misunderstood by the general public and both of their greatest works are only really appreciated by dedicated fans.
