I think many of the photos from "the slave years" are terrible....he looked too skinny and pale during that era,and his hairstyle was atrocious. | |

As a huge Dirty Mind era fan I thought this one was cool. almost a homage to that Dirty Mind rawness and the freedom of his newfound Lovesexy I'm not offended by skin so this is nothing

I would say the poster a lot of people around here love so much but truth is there have been quite a few pictures of him over the decades that made me shiver and not in a good way. That blue space suit thing comes to mind, that very pale phase does too. | |

That shirt should be placed in a museum of awfulness. What was it with screen printed pattern shirts of the late 80s? Yellow pants don't help his cause either. . Seems to be a theme in this thread, all the photos show Prince so far looking his most caucasian, do people not like the white looking Prince? That has got to be the worst picture of Prince I've ever seen. In some alternate reality where Prince never became famous, this photo was taken at his neighbour's barbecue or something. Hundalasiliah! |

Noooooo! This was my memory of first getting into Prince as a teenager, I had 2 3foot tall posters of this photo and the LoveSexy cover. I must admit, looking back, my friends did find it a little 'different' to the norm! | |

The Lovesexy photos even the one of him seeming to jump in a black diaper are GREAT photos in my opinion. That one above from the Batman Era outside in the sun with the yellow pants seems very real but also doesn't even look like him. That's a pretty bad one. Such a damn pretty man, often courageously pushing the boundaries of good taste. I'm sure he's always had a blast with it. I've always admired him for it. There must be a bad picture out there. Keep 'em commin'! small circles, big wheels!
