Paisley Park is nice enough to look at, but it's no more than the bog-standard office architecture found all over the UK. Some people are like Slinkies...

I actually like this thread. I've always been interested in the architecture of PP. I've never been but I'd love to go one day. ya gotta make that trip, because anything explained on this thread means nothing to you untill you get to experiance it for yourself!
Anyway, why is your thread so dependent upon u? If you created something wouldn't people want the creator to explain themselves or maybe the Creator would like to input, I mean it is their thread (TipN4U)

My short story: I remember my first time ever in Minnesota for Lovesexy 1 and going to find Paisley Park. I remember all around hwy 5 there was nothing but farms (cows and horses right across from Paisley) and I remember saying this can't be the right road, lol... low and behold like a diamond in the ruff there she was a big beautiful big white mansion. Me and my friend went to the door and there were two people setting at the desk and a jukebox and some chairs in that area, I asked the lady at the desk if it was possible to get a look around she told me that that would not be able to happen, lol, I had to ask but that's my first memory of Paisley sometime in 88' Thank u for posting. Like Ricco said. The first time I rolled up on Paisley it was surrounded by farmland. Quite striking to be driving along and suddenly see a big, gleaming white building! Nowadays the town has grown around it, of course, but there's still something inspiring about the place. | |
