I've always thought Come as more of a album than a Prince album myself. He had already changed his name by that point. I think a big reason why it was released as a Prince album was that people weren't really comfortable with using the new name yet.

It's funny to think of that in retrospect. As if an artist changing his name to an unpronounceable symbol would be the end of the world. Most thought "Prince" was his stage name in any case, so why would it make him any crazier than what they already thought he was.

I like/love pretty much all of them. It was after Prince 'returned' in 2000 that my opinions on his next few post-2000 albums went up and down
