IMO Prince was, is and will always be cool because while other so called "cool" dudes were out in the street trying to find how to be cool, Prince was creating sounds in music that allowed many to become cool in the eyes of their peers.

Prince is the creator of the modern day music lovers definition of "cool." i mean how many of millions copied prince's hair style, dance moves and tried to dress in the 'prince style' of the day?
