Hmm, I've only recently been exposed to prince's work. I just started listening to his music for the first time earlier this year.

Oh gee, 6 weeks after I hadone about Prince rumours, we have another one how original, but hey that list is good, it was LOL the whole way. It covered all the bases of standard Prince rumours.

1. On the whole feud with Michael Jackson (In reality I bet Prince barely acknowledged his presence) Prince looked down at him, as he was merely a singer and dancer, whereas Prince was the consummate musician for himself and several others.

2. Sexual deviancy, stories of having sex with multiple women, forced abortions and group sex/voyeurism, having a big dick. Its possible, but they say, those who talk the most about sex, have the least, at least thats what my mother told me. You can talk the talk, but do you walk the walk and some of Prince's lyrics are a whole bunch of mess.

3. Being gay - mostly with people like Morris Day and others, again these rumours have little substance and apart from effeminate acting Jamie Foxx sending him up and a bit more, he is only assumed to be gay for his effeminate stage presence. To me it looks like Prince does and always has loved the ladies.

4. Satanism or worshipping deities and celebrities, this is mostly a 1980s rumour, that promptly went away with the JW stuff. Again its possible, but I doubt, people talk and tongues wag. Plus the 1980s was littered with so called satanic scandals like Satanic abuse at Kindergartens, backmasked music lyrics and so called satanic ritual killers like Richard Ramirez. This style of rumour also crosses into the occult, particularly African Occultism like voodoo, zombies, obeah, hoodoo, juju etc.

5 Other rumours, removing the rib to suck it, worshipping Marilyn Monroe, being mercenary with staff and girlfriends, collecting strange objects.

6. Substance abuse - Rumours based around drug and alcohol abuse. Cocaine seems to be popular in the 1980s, booze in the 1990s. Again he may have dabbled, but I hardly think Prince is a hardened user. He has a strong clean streak in him and plus these things as he references a few times, would mess up his creative processes and work ethic.

7. Death/Christopher Tracy - The rumours he died in 1983 to 1985 and was replaced by a light skinned lookalike usually called Christopher Tracy. Again I doubt it.

But you all missed the big one - In the 1990s he walked around with canes full of his own jizz and kept these for 40 years so he could get back his potency as an old man.
