I believe, after reading some music article last week somewhere, that Prince can't allow Youtube to host his music without giving them certain ownership rights. That's why he doesn't do it, as much as that sucks for the end users like us. The problem is Youtube, Spotify and other streaming services have no actually profitable business strategy other than stripping money out of the pockets of copyright holders.
