Not sure i posted my story, but TC Ellis made the intro and it ended with me and my boys being bounced from VIP and then the club as a whole LOL. Ahhhh, the drinks were plentiful LOL. | |

moderatorI never had a meeting but I did have to sightings outside of attending concerts, the first was in 01 at SFO Airport, he was at the gate waitng to board his flight and the second was in 04 during The Musicolgy tour, I caught a glimpse of him in the hotel lobby in Bakersfield CA which was the second show of the concert. I saw him from quite close when he entered Bain Douche in 98 after the Zenith show. We fans were ALL forbidden entrance by the club despite P's management trying to get us in, the fucker from the Bains Douche even came out and said "get outta here, no one will get in", and we said "but someone from P's camp just told us that he's working on getting us in because the ticket sales is for a charity" and that fucker replied "people from P's management are nobodies in this place, they have no authority, y'all get outta here". So anyway we were all there and P came in with his bodyguards and it was very different from seeing him on stage even though I had seen him from just as close at some shows a few years earlier. The way he looked and moved that night, in the street, it was as if he was CGI, that was weird . So I never got to "meet" or spoke to him, but I've seen him outside of a stage that one time. . After we spoke a bit with Rhonda, who happened to be really cool, very kind and scandalously beautiful. She signed our Zenith tickets and that was it. Only met Morris Day in the 90s at an outdoor old school funk festival in Orange County, CA and Jesse Johnson in the 80s when he was promoting his 1st solo album in a record store in DC for autogrpahs signings. Met the entire orginal lineup of the Time in a record store before they opened on the Controversy Tour in Hampton, VA | |
