Nothing compares 2 Prince! It looks like the iconic music superstar will be continuing his run on the 2015 awards show circuit at music’s biggest night… the Grammys!

A source exclusively told Us Weekly that the “Purple Rain” singer, 56, might make a surprise appearance at the Feb. 8 57th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

“He has something very, very special in the works!” the source shared with Us.

Prince, who released his most recent album ART OFFICIAL AGE in September 2014, along with PLECTRUMELECTRUM with 3RDEYEGIRL, caused quite the uproar when he appeared at the 2015 Golden Globes to present the award for Best Original Song to John legend and Common for their song “Glory,” from the film Selma. (Us Weekly was first to break the news of the purple one’s appearance hours before the show.)

The seven-time Grammy winner, and 33-time nominee, even garnered whistles from hot star Channing Tatum and funny guy Louis C.K. during his sunglasses-clad appearance.

We just can’t wait to see what Prince has up his (sparkly) sleeve!

Something that will coinicide with the Purpe Rain Re-release I would assume

This will be awesome... I have a feeling we will start seeing a lot more of Prince, and I also speculate it's because he has to release the Purple Rain re-master soon...

PRINCE Set For “Surprise” Grammy Appearance!

Has it really been over 10 years since PRINCE stole the Grammy's with Beyonce? It has but you may just see him there in some capacity on music's biggest night!

According to US Magazine, a Grammy source says the music icon has “something very, very special in the works!”

Prince has won 7 Grammy's and has been nominated 33 times. Recently, Prince released "Art Official Age" and "PLECTRUMELECTRUM" on the same day.-DocFB

I suspect that he's partcipating in the Stevie Wonder tribute at the Grammys. Prince is like the Dallas Cowboys-you will get your heartbroken if you expect to get what you want.

Sadly, I suspect "something very, very special" will just be Prince with 3rdEyeGirl performing a medley from Plectrumelectrum. Having said that, I would love to eat my words.

Won't be watching that. Thats the night The Walking Dead returns!! I don't miss it. Hopefully it will be online later on

2015 is going to be a big year... that said bet he just sends the girls out to give an award, and releases Breakfast Can't Wait again...

Prince himself on the other hand is still huge - just look at the reception he gets every time he makes a public appearance.

I'm glad they put "surprise" in quotes, because it isn't a surprise anymore.

Since there is the Stevie tribute I imagine he'll participate in that but I think he's got something special planned and it's not just presenting an award.

Maybe it is in facx a Revolution Reunion to (finally) promote the anniversary. As many of mentioned the entire crew is been awfully quiet since you left social media

Sure hope whatever it is doesn't disappoint but this is P so u never know...
