Apollo Creed took Rocky to his old stomping grounds, and trained among amateur fighters, helped Rocky get over his insecurities and doubts. Rocky regained his competitive juices and started boxing with a laser edge focus that helped him beat Clubber land. I wish Andre Cymone or Sonny T, somebody like that could help Prince return to making music of high quality again. Removed of any unnecessary production styles that obscure Prince's God-given musicality and abilities as a songwriter and recording artist. Paisley Park is a cocoon that has allowed Prince to stay in his comfort zone.

The answer I suppose is who can get Prince his next hit song. That hasn't happened yet.

Just because they were stars in the 80s doesn't mean they can be compared.
