Interesting. It seems like P's people are listening to R&B radio which has been giving this song some play....Frankly, despite AOA's critical success, it's clear that Prince fucked up by dropping this album and then hiding out like he was on America's Most Wanted list....No one else to blame for AOA's under-performing but Prince...

So will we see some real promotion, a video perhaps? Wouldn't bet on it but stranger things have happened.....But he might as well get back on the AOA record since his appearance at the Golden Globes proved he could still move the needle culturally and on social media (shocker)....

But why would Warner use Moses Media Inc marketing company to 'produce' a video? Surely they have people in house that do that stuff?

I'm just saying it doesnt exactly look like something they would put out? The Lyric videos Warner have put with the tracks have been pretty well made.

I thouught so at first but this is as space age rNb ballad as it gets, so intricate it transcends any mundane stuff on Emancipation. It's a really successful transposition of a classic Prince vibe to a 21st century artificial soundscape. I agree the kind of things Prince attempted on Emancipation are similar to what's on Art Official Age, it's just the latter is what the former failed to be.

Maybe has decided on another approach? Eye mean anything will help. This album needs 2 b heard! Eye'm tired of all his good hard work in the studio going to waste. If radio can add D'angelo's "Another Love" to their playlist, which is based off of 's lush vocal arrangements. Then they can add the original maestro's also... It's not FAIR.

Keep in mind the video isn't made for the general public but for radio programmers as a "heads-up" that the song is going for radio adds (the vid is probably part of an EPK being sent to radio stations).

Also, record labels have been known to (and gotten in trouble for) using independent promoters to get their songs played on the radio. Or maybe Prince is paying for the indie promoter himself because he was dissatisfied with WB for some reason. I'ts been speculated that with this new deal Prince pays for the promotion costs so maybe he decided it would cost less to use an indie promoter than do it through WB. Who knows, but it's not unknown for labels and artists to use indie promoters to get airplay.
