At the second Arsenio Hall show (1993) Prince's "gun mic" was stolen by an audience member. It was only returned after the studio threatened to make everyone pass thru a metal detector. A close friend of mine who was a page at the show said it was a bluff. They did not have a metal detector for the audience to pass thru and the mic would have been lost.

Fact. It has/had a fancy gate on it, with "PP" in metallic script.

He also owns or owned a house south of Houston, on a body of water. It is/was five houses down from my parents' old house (and just across the water from my house). Unfortunately, my parents had both passed away before Prince bought the house. I wish Prince could have met my dad. They'd have gotten along awesomely!

But I don't know that Prince ever even visits that house. He has never been spotted down here, nor has anyone ever talked about seeing him at the home. But I got my information from someone who would know - and isn't a Prince fan of any kind - so I'm pretty sure he at least owned the house, even if he never visited it.
