Yes I am bored already...


We had to wait 4 years for the Art Official Age album.

It is rather good but yet not excellent either.


But now: how can we fill out the empty space here on prince.org, now that Prince isn't that prolific anymore..

Any suggestions are welcome....

Yes... I wish it was 1985 all over again, or 1983 or 1987.... but it isn't........ what are we gonna do about that..

a solution would of course be for Prince to release the remasters.... with bonus discs.

will that eventually happen in our lifetime...

Or there might be an interim official site, or one off shows, with sporadic releases of tracks that never make it onto any album.

1,000+ songs aren't enough to keep you occupied?

I relax and stay paitent. I have so much Prince music to listen to that if Prince retired I would be ok.

Trust me back in the late 90s when Prince was suggested that would release multiple albums a year i would the first one in line to buy them but if he wants to take a break that is ok too.

Maybe pick a few different albums and immerse yorself in those records. There are hundreds and maybe even a thousand songs to pick from. I am currently in a Sign O the Times thru Batman phase. I must have 100 songs on a playlist that I have been working out to and that will keep me busy for some time.

You can always post about Beyonce, D'Angelo or Van Hunt.

Thats what I thought. No matter what you think of Prince, you can not say he hasnt produced more music than anyone over the last 4 decades - live performances, studio recordings, films.

As a part of the deal with WB the PR remaster must be released at some point and until that happens I don't think WB will distribute any more new albums. But I think we get PR remaster this year and maybe a new album in 2016

Wow I really feel sorry for the people here that only listen to Prince. Some people here are so sheltered!! LMFAO

I've got to the point that I dont wait around for Prince records, If they come its a bonus.

There is alot of great music out there, Prince is just a drop in the ocean so I try to not dwell too much on waiting for him to put anything new out there.

I felt compelled to listen to "Becks" Latest album after the Grammys with Prince giving him the award (And Kanye being a Douche about it) and actually quite enjoyed it, not an artists I've really listened to before.

But I have a decent length commute to work so I try to listen to an album a day that I've never heard before from a range of Genres that I may not otherwise have checked out, just because I have that spare time on my commute (Spotify is well worth the money for me)
