Is the solo in "She's always in my hair" too short for a shot at the contender title? Some of the best seconds in the 80's. Still can't get a grip why he put this gem on a B-side. Was he afraid that people would say "Man, you're cheating" "You're not writing this for real are you?" "You're not from this planet, right?". Was he too humble on putting out ace tracks and making an even sicker streak directly after Purple Rain?

"She's Always in My Hair" was most definitely a contender (and almost made the list). In 2013, during the Live Out Loud Tour, he played this in Vancouver and the ending solo he did is one of my all-time favorites. I ultimately left it off because I'm not sure too many know about that performance.

The solo on 'Get it Up' is pretty sweet too. Nearly 2 minutes long!

Ooh, it's been a minute since I've heard "Days o' Wild". I'm gonna go check it out for old times' sake. I will say (from memory alone) it's in my personal Top 5 greatest songs he recorded in the '90s.
