Alright Anji, I'll bite.
The Linn sound can be heard on Let's Go Crazy. The beat goes (approximately) boom, pa, boom, pa, boom, pa, boo-paddata. The paddata part is the specific sound I associate with the Linn. That and the way the snare sounds. Like on Raspberry Beret, the boom-beh-behr-boom, pa, boom, pa, boom, pa. OK, I'm a bit stoned. There's a rift out in space, and it could be the door, but you know I'm not sure. | |

Maybe instead of "padadda" I should have said "ghe-geggeh". Or maybe "de-deggeh". How about "pleety-who-schwatzai, foont, foont"?
