OMG, this remix is hilarious - how have I never heard before. The Forrest Gump line?! "Let me get a transfer." I miss his sense of humor on the new stuff.

I prefer it to the original. I don't really find it funny, more a serious intense passion in his voice which is rarely found in his catalogue.

Absolutely love this maxi-single. Unofrtunately I did mishear a lyric which mentioned 'body biz' and thought he say 'body b's' as in bodybags and thought, Wow, he is angry! The beauty of misheard lyrics.

The extended version is truly amazing, a great vocal range, the soaring guitar solo. I also love the part when he states that he would pay 'someone to knock you off but you ain't worth the wealth'. Just that heart-wrenching, emotionally-distorted anger and bitterness about someone who, truth be told, you adore. 'I hate you (because I love u)'.

Does anyone remember the line regarding 'you owe me about a million 6 or more', always thought that sounded strangely specific.

A local DJ/friend here in central Cali had the hook-up with Warner Bro's and would get all kinds of promo music. They sent him The Gold Experience and I Hate U maxi single both on gold vinyl. He gave them to his wife to give to my wife to give to me.... well, she left them in the car and they melted. I was told there were a limited amount pressed. I Hate U DJ's wife!
