I am always polite about it. Most of my friends and inner circle know I love music, especially funky music. I usually listen to what they like but when i get a chance I usually sneak in my Prince music, usually obscure stuff that catches one's ear. Like a live show with amazing guitar work. I put it on in the back round. Sooner or later my crew is like "what is this? That's amazing!" When they find out it's Prince they do a double take. I don't push it on them. Just let them hear how versatile he is and it usually flows downhill from there. Plus if they don't like it I usually don't call them back. It's a deal breaker for me.

I usually just play the music without telling anybody who it is. That's my way of bypassing their biases.

In stores I put his cds in front of all the others...
