You'd be surprised how many teenagers watched the Dave Chapelle skit. Everyone I know (without me telling them) instantly recognizes Prince and know more about the fact that he dresses weird and kicks ass at basketball than his actual music
It's more than you can say for, say, Bruce Springsteen or Lionel Richie. George Michael is that 'Last Christmas guy', Madonna everybody knows, Michael Jackson is in his own league. Prince is the most musically inclined out of all of them but his basketball skills/love of pancakes is what I hear about everytime he's brought up! lol Maybe  do, just not like did before  | |
