The number 17

Not seen this discussed on here before but Prince obviously has something about the number 17. Some examples from the top of my head below but I know I've missed a lot more, anyone know why he's so into this number?
17 days
Trolley cars that juggle 17
17 mountains stood so high
Mirror mirror 17 fold
