Thoughts on the new Uptown issue #57?

Three pages devoted to an excerpt from Alex Hahn's released book that most readers will have read by now? Mr Hahn getting his legal fees paid back in book sales and advertising perhaps but aside from Xpectation review (in which it's feebly argued the song titles could all apply to Mani's being pregnant) theres nothing to read. It's all discography lists and their background.

Wasn't even updated in time to talk about the NPGMC Year Three launch, with lack of news (When it comes there's an official site now) and fresh angles I see Uptown's demise on the horizon...

They give feelings on the album (weak relation to Madhouse) and then clutch at straws regarding all nine of the song titles linking to pregnancy.

The point about Xpectation referencing a supposed pregnancy was a theory first uttered by "fams", and Uptown were trying to put it into context/explain it to readers.

It didn't come across like they believed this theory, or were trying to purport it themselves.

(Cross-post from NPGMC board).

They gave a significant amount of space to the theory is all. MY complaint about this issue is the lack of any articles/interviews to read... nothing at all aside from the Xpectation review.

Ahh okay you switched from Miabocca over here is all, I don't want to bash Uptown but they have potential to do better surely, even with a lack of material.
