Had to sell my turntable ages ago due to my move but I still miss the analog sound. Cd is nice but sounds harsher to me than warm lp sound.

That would be a waste of wax to put a short album like that on two vinyl records. My Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/tundrah

but wasnt the idea to do that so it would sound even better?

I remember the delay of the album being pushed on "the best sounding medium",also.

just got my vinyls of both aoa and pe. the covers look very nice and are made with an eye for the details, so i was looking forward very much to listening to them. But unfortunately that was the bad part: both records sound a lot worse then the cds, at least to my ears.
my verdict: for collectors only!

Where did you get your vinyl copies? Amazon? US? "Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion" -- Martha Graham

Both sound great to me. Do your other records sound bad?

Hi there, Hi, It's not a good idea to keep the seal/folie around your album. It will shrink in time, and you will find your album cover curling up. I live in Austria and got them from Saturn.
Usually I enjoy records a lot. Lotusflow3r/MPLSsound actually sound a lot better on vinyl then on cd, in my opinion. and just recently i found the 1-800 new funk sampler in some second hand store, which sounds nice, warm and clear. I havent listened to the cd in years, but listening to the disc on vinyl was a lot of fun! the other way round with AOA and PE, unfortunately.

I've only listened to PE so far and overall I found it overly bright with very little warmth or depth. From a purely sonic point of view the worst record I've heard in a long, long time.

I'm not sure if I'm just biased or something like that, but I prefer listening to AOA on vinyl. It sounds better to me. Not perfect or great, but it does sound better. My Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/tundrah

Why is AOA a double album? Is it really that long? My Legacy
