No this is not a new leak

On 2007 - Work It 2.0 There is an instrumental track called Pickle
I've alway passed it off as a fake, It appears to use the back music of Wendy & Lisa's : Are You My Baby. Has the line "Tickle my pickle"
Im sure all you collectors know what im talkng about. Its fake right?
The Vault list an unreleased track titled Pickle from 1989, is this really it?

Anyone?

My rip is dated march 2006, So its been around for years. I'm not sure what album it was sourced from

I thought it was established that the thing you describe was fake (though there was an actual Pickle)--I hope so, anyway, since I don't think I still have it.

"Pickle" is 100% a Prince track. After Eric took a pass on the song, he offered it to W&L who then turned the foundation of the song into "Are You My Baby".

My pickle is real. In case anyone was wondering.

He mentions "Housequake" and also uses the record needle sample from the song begin and end the song as well. I love this track and always found it hillarious.I think the "wait" is sampled from "Love Song" as well. Today is also "National Pickle Day" in the States. Oh, the irony. Someone just sent me a copy of the Pickle that sounds like Are You My Baby and it sounds genuine to me. Then I realized I used to have a track called Pickle from Work It 2.0 I think, I just found it and it's a DIFFERENT track but it sounds genuine as well except it's a different track entirely.

So are both genuine Prince recordings (i think they are) and if so, which one is Pickle and what is the other. This is important to determine I believe because if the Are You My Baby version is, in fact, NOT Pickle than it could be that they sent the track to P at the same time they sent him Lolly Lolly for remixing and he just recorded that for fun, in which case Prince is NOT behind Are You My Baby.

Now that you mention it i recall another track as you mention, maybe its titled instrumental and possibly dated to 89?
