Kiss Me Quick What do people think of Kiss Me Quick. I like it, it's good to have a little more stuff from 1981 not a great deal has got out in the past. I am wondering if it's been faded out earlier, it's just seems too short. I can imagine it having an instrumental part similar to I wanna be your lover or Just As long as we're together. I really can't see he would have ever intended for an album, probably one he considered for another artist. I'm hoping we get a little more from this time period. Strange way in full in better quality, she's just a baby in better quality and maybe There's something I like about being your fool would be real nice.

It's strangely discoish considering that he had already done DM, so among my first thoughts wat that it must have been written for another artist (possibly a female protege group).

Perhaps this was intended for Patrice Rushen, or Vanity. Keep your headphones on.

If it were any other artist, I would agree, but this is Miss Prince here. Honey, that one didn't come from the vault, it came from the closet. Great track though. Need more jams like this. This is from the "Old Prince" era before "Around The World In A Day" when Prince was truly BAD! 1978-1984....best era ever. . . . [Edited 11/13/14 6:36am] Andy is a four letter word.

This is NOT Prince flooding the net with this stuff. Think about it, if given the option, would he not want money for his hard work? He does not give things away for free, especially vault material. "You always get the dream that you deserve, from what you value the most" -Prince 2013

Once I got past the catchiness of the track and realized the lyrics were from a female perspective, I immediately assumed it was meant for Patrice Rushen. Probably just because I know "I Wanna Be Your Lover" was originally meant for her, so it seems natural to think that maybe he gave it a second go. Plus this song, musically, is right in her wheelhouse. [Edited 11/16/14 9:44am]

. So the song must have been written in 1978/79 right? Iirc, she wasn't in the camp anymore by 1980. Maybe do, just not like did before
